Our aim is to make learning to Salsa dance a super fun experience! We're all about teaching you the right Salsa ON1 technique, rhythm, and smooth leading/following skills. all so you can hit the dance floor with anyone, anywhere, and feel awesome afterwards!

Salsa Fundamentals Parts 1 & 2 & 3 & 4

This series of classes covers all the basics in a fun and friendly environment! So if you’re new to salsa dancing or don’t have much dance experience in general, this is the class for you. We’ll build your foundation for salsa dancing using fundamental footwork, lead/follow partnering techniques, and you’ll even learn the basic single right turn.

SALSA FUNDAMENTALS

prerequistites:

None. Just bring your smile and a positive attitude. This is the first step in learning how to Salsa dance.

learning objectives:

  • How to count Salsa music to dance on beat.

  • Core Salsa dance steps and your first Salsa turn.

  • How to dance with a partner.

A STUDENT’S ABILITY TO TO MASTER THE FUNDAMENTALS IS STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY HOW MUCH THEY PRACTICE IN BETWEEN CLASSES!

Salsa LEVEL 1

In this class we’ll build on the GOOD foundation you received in the fundamentals class. We will continue to work on the basics and introduce a couple more advanced patterns and turns. The focus is on improving technique, and building confidence. This class is also good for those with some salsa experience seeking to review and advance their skill level. *generally Level 1 can be completed in aN EIGHT class series.

YOU’VE COMPLETED THE FUNDAMENTALS CLASS SERIES (part 1, 2 , 3 & 4)

You are able to do the basic step, cross body lead, and right turn.

Level 1 learning objectives:

  • Develop coordination and how to dance the core Salsa steps on beat.

  • Be able to execute right and left pivot turns and walk-around turns.
